1. Business Structure
Brooklyn Locksmith 247 Inc. is a corporation formed in New York State.
We operate exclusively as a mobile service provider and do not maintain a public retail storefront.
We reserve the right to utilize qualified subcontractors to fulfill service requests when necessary, including but not limited to emergency locksmith services and after-hours services. All subcontractors are required to adhere to our service standards and pricing guidelines.
2. Authorization for Service
By requesting service, you represent and warrant that:
- You are the lawful owner, tenant, or authorized party.
- You have the authority to request locksmith services.
- You are at least 18 years old, or a minor with guardian authorization (including remote authorization where applicable).
We reserve the right to request identification, proof of ownership, lease documentation, or vehicle registration prior to performing service.
We may refuse service at our discretion if authorization cannot be reasonably verified.
3. Destructive Entry Authorization
Certain services, including emergency lockouts, may require drilling, forceful entry, or other destructive methods when non-destructive entry is not possible.
By requesting service, you expressly authorize the Company or its subcontractors to use professional judgment in determining the appropriate method of entry.
The Company is not responsible for damage reasonably necessary to complete authorized services.
4. Pricing & Service Call Fees
We may advertise lock replacement price ranges on our website for informational purposes only. These ranges are not binding quotes.
Final pricing is determined on-site after inspection of the lock, door, hardware, vehicle system, or job conditions.
We charge a service call fee, which only covers dispatch and travel to your location. This fee is due regardless of whether additional work is approved after technician’s arrival.
Emergency, after-hours, specialty, high-security, and automotive programming services may incur additional charges.
5. Estimates
Written residential and commercial locksmith estimates are valid for 30 days from issuance unless otherwise stated.
After 30 days, pricing may be subject to revision due to material costs, availability, or scope changes.
Phone, website, or form-based quotes are preliminary estimates only and are not guaranteed until on-site confirmation.
6. Payment Terms
Payment is due immediately upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
We accept:

- Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover)
- Venmo
- CashApp
- Zelle
- Company checks (with prior approval only)
When a subcontractor performs the service, payment may be collected directly by that subcontractor.
If any payment is reversed, charged back, declined, or returned for insufficient funds, the Company reserves the right to:
- Add collection fees
- Add bank processing fees
- Pursue legal collection remedies
- Recover attorney’s fees where permitted by law
7. Refund & Return Policy
Labor:
Once labor has been performed, it is non-refundable.
Products Purchased From Us:
- In-stock products may be returned within 30 days if unopened, unused, and untampered with.
- Special order or custom products are non-refundable unless the supplier accepts return and issues refund to us.
- Customer is responsible for any return shipping or supplier-imposed restocking fees.
We do not provide refunds for products purchased elsewhere.
8. Warranty
Labor Warranty:
We provide a 90-day warranty on labor for services performed using products purchased directly through us.
Product Warranty:
All products are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty. We do not control manufacturer warranty policies.
Warranty does not cover:
- Misuse
- Tampering
- Third-party alterations
- Weather damage
- Vandalism
- Normal wear and tear
9. Automotive Programming Disclaimer
Modern vehicles utilize complex electronic immobilizer, ECU, BCM, and anti-theft systems.
While we use professional-grade automotive programming equipment, we are not responsible for:
- Pre-existing electronic or module faults
- Dealer programming restrictions
- ECU or immobilizer failures
- Previously tampered ignition systems
- Software or firmware corruption unrelated to our equipment
- Vehicle battery or charging system issues
- Post-service unrelated mechanical or electronic failures
If issues arise beyond the scope of locksmith programming services, dealership or manufacturer intervention may be required.
Our liability for automotive services is limited strictly to the amount paid for the service performed.
10. Documentation Consent
For quality control, legal protection, and internal records, we may photograph or video document work performed.
We may use non-identifying images for marketing purposes. No personal identifying information will be publicly disclosed without consent.
11. Subcontractor Services
The Company may dispatch independent subcontractors when necessary.
Subcontractors are required to follow our quality guidelines and pricing structures.
The Company is not liable for independent actions of subcontractors beyond the scope of agreed service terms. However, we maintain internal standards to ensure professional service delivery.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for incidental, indirect, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service performed.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to doors, frames, ignition systems, or hardware.
13. Collections & Legal Remedies
Unpaid balances may be subject to:

- Additional fees

- Mechanic’s lien where applicable
Customer agrees to pay reasonable attorney’s fees and costs associated with collection.
14. Mandatory Arbitration & Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to services provided shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration in the State of New York.
Customer waives the right to participate in class actions.
Arbitration shall be conducted in accordance with applicable New York arbitration laws.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York.
16. Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
